The key to any successful party is good food, good drinks and good entertainment. While the first two are generally quite easy to ensure, it can be difficult at times trying to decide on a form of entertainment you think will leave your guests enthralled and looking forward to your next event. There are plenty of types of entertainment to choose from, ranging from DJ’s, magic acts to garden cinemas, but one of the most popular products you can use at your party are fireworks. Fireworks were originally invented by the Chinese over one thousand years ago for use in their national festivities, and in the years since have become synonymous with celebrations across the world. The is a large variety in the visual and audio effects that fireworks produce, but the majority of fireworks sold today can be grouped into one of three main categories.
Types of Firework
Rockets are easily the most popular type of firework sold today, and offer buyers the most exciting effect out of all fireworks. Rockets consist of a small cylinder tube containing the effect, which is attached to a long straight stick. The stick is placed into the ground and keeps the firework aimed skywards when it is being lit. After ignition the firework will shoot up into the sky and after between five and eight seconds will explode into a dazzling lighting effect. Rockets also have distinctive sounds and emit a screeching noise when shooting into the sky followed by a deep boom when they explode. You should note that out all the fireworks sold fireworks offer the shortest effect, lasting between two to four seconds. Another popular form of firework is the roman candle, and these products are stationary tubes that shoot one or more colourful sparks into the air when lit. Roman candles are available in a range of styles including the aforementioned single shots, multi shot candles and candles barrages that contain between eight and fourteen candles that fire their sparks at the same time. Fountain fireworks are similar in design to the roman candles, but rather than fire sparks these products release a wave of colourful sparks, imitating the effect of a water fountain. The size of the wave of sparks and the length of the effect will have an influence on the price of the firework.
Safety
It is extremely important that you follow the safety instructions printed on the side of the firework and make sure that your guests are aware of them too. Fireworks have an explosive element so you need to ensure that ample room has been given to light the products.
Never allow a minor to a light a firework and I advise you to keep all pets indoors. It’s a good idea to buy some portfires and use these to light the firework. There are plenty of places where fireworks can be obtained from but I advise you to always buy from a reputable seller like Fireworks Crazy, as this will guarantee that the products are of the upmost quality and are safe to use.
