Crocodile Dundee
Having appeared in three films, Crocodile Dundee is an instantly recognisable character. With his snakeskin waist jacket and black cowboy hat, Crocodile Dundee is a very popular idea for a fancy dress costume. If a husband dresses as this character, his wife could be Linda who was Crocodile Dundee’s love interest.
Superman
In Man of Steel, which was released in 2013, Superman was played by Henry Cavill. Cowboy
Although the modern perception of a cowboy is a myth, many movies have been made that feature them. What Charles Bronson sported in the Spaghetti Western Once Upon a Time in the West is also ideal. A group of friends could attend a fancy dress party as various characters from Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy. Along with Brick Tamland and Brian Fantana, a costume can even be worn which is similar to what Ron or Champ Kind sported.
Jason Voorhees
Many slasher movies have been made since the 1970’s and one of the most iconic serial killers is Jason Voorhees. Murdering teens and camp counsellors alike since the first Friday the 13th sequel onwards, his costume is very popular to wear. Along with his hockey mask and machete, a brown bomber jacket completes a Jason Voorhees costume. A fancy dress retailer might include these accessories in all of their outfits.
Zombie
Since Night of the Living Dead was released in 1968, many zombie movies have been made and not always to critical acclaim although there are exceptions i.e. The Evil Dead. A zombie costume is very easy to recreate. By purchasing tubes of fake blood and applying to the body and also torn clothes, a costume is complete.
The Joker
Batman has many enemies, such as the Joker. Just like Batman, many actors have played the Joker and each wore different costumes. For one of the scariest mens Halloween costumes around, dress as Heath Ledger who appeared in The Dark Knight. As this particular costume is purchasable in a variety of sizes, both a father and his son can be the Joker.
